Several members of the New Patriotic Party from the Manhyia North constituency in the Ashanti region have reportedly sustained varied degrees of injuries following a clash between them and bodyguards of the party’s regional chairman Bernard Antwi Bosiako, Ultimate FM’s Isaac Bediako Justice has reported.
According to Bediako Justice, the melee took place at Krofrom, where the party’s regional head office is located.
The supporters reportedly marched to the regional headquarters after they had waited in vain for their constituency primary to be held as announced by the regional executives.

Upon reaching the head office to inquire about why the election could not take place, the bodyguards of chairman Wontumi, as Antwi Bosiako is popularly known, attempted to stop them from meeting the executives, sparking the confusion.
